Today it was sticky, humid, and very much rainy, yet Emma decided it was time to start the day at 5:50am. Ish. Emma got a short but lovely visit from Grandma Carol, and they got to take a nice walk in the early afternoon while we had our ducts cleaned. Emma and I have been working on different learning games, such as "Where's the baby?" like in this video:
It's a tad dark, but hopefully you can see and enjoy. She really got a kick out of it. She's been giggling a ton, especially to Old McDonald. She must know that Daddy grew up on a farm. :)
When Daddy came home, he installed beautiful curtain holders in her room, and she was quite thrilled. Then she ate her first pancake; Mommy made an "E" just for her. :) She then had a great bath and showed Daddy how much fun splashing is; now that we use the bath seat less often, she's thrilled to gain access to the water!!!
I still can't figure out how to make the pictures align with our story - if anyone knows, please email me! :)
